This Day In History

1899 On this day in 1899, then NY Governor Theodore Roosevelt visited Akron for the first time. He spoke to thousands of people gathered at Grace Park.
1931 On this day in 1931, the USS Akron (ZRS-4) made her maiden flight over Cleveland, Detroit and Lake Erie.
