The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company – Main Plant

In 1916, Goodyear became the world’s largest tire company. This is also when the company began using the slogan “More people ride on Goodyear tires than on any other kind.”

This Day In History

1931 On this day in 1931, Police Officer Forrest Good was shot and killed by two suspects who had possession of a stolen automobile at the intersection of North Prospect Street and Bluff Street.
