This Day in History: 1940-07-31

On this day in 1940, a Pensylvania Railroad Doodlebug crashed into a 73-car freight train at Hudson Drive and Front Street in Cuyahoga Falls. Forty-three passengers were killed when the Doodlebugs 350-gallon gasoline tank exploded.
